From December 17-18 last year, Sichuan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of the Great Wall cigar brand) and China Tobacco International Group Limited jointly hosted two events: the “Celebration of the First Anniversary of the Great Wall Life Hong Kong Flagship Store and the 2025 Great Wall Cigar New Product Launch in Hong Kong,” and the “Great Wall Cigar Tasting Event Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Macau's Return to the Motherland and the Great Wall × San Luis New Product Launch.” Both events, co-organized by China Tobacco International (HK) Co., Ltd. were successfully held in Hong Kong and Macau.
During the Hong Kong event, Great Wall cigar highlighted the launch of two high-end handmade cigars: Great Wall Year of the Snake Limited Edition and Great Wall Spectacular No. 3 Vintage 2020. Great Wall also presented seven awards, including the 2024 Outstanding Partnership Award, to local Hong Kong retailers and media representatives in recognition of their strong support for the sales and promotion of Great Wall cigar and brand development.
During the Macau event, Great Wall cigar grandly unveiled two ultra-premium handmade cigars: Great Wall GL No. 1 Reserve Commemorative Edition for the 25th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland and Great Wall×San Luis Limited Customization Canonazo. Additionally, two high-end handmade cigars were also launched: Great Wall Year of the Snake Limited Edition and Great Wall Spectacular No. 3 Vintage 2020.
The events attracted representatives from renowned upstream and downstream enterprises in the Hong Kong and Macau cigar industry, local retailers, influencers, and consumer representatives. It is reported that, since the beginning of 2024, Great Wall, in collaboration with China Tobacco International (HK) Co., Ltd., has focused on deeply cultivating the Hong Kong and Macau markets. By partnering with leading cigar distributors and retailers, Great Wall cigars have been introduced into over 30 well known cigar lounges and shops across Hong Kong and Macau.

1. Great Wall GL No. 1 Reserve Commemorative Edition for the 25th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland, Great Wall GL No. 1 Reserve Commemorative Edition for the 25th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland has been meticulously crafted by Great Wall Cigar. This cigar uses two Chinese national gifts to show its preciousness, namely the porcelain jar made by Yong Feng Yuan, the representative brand of Chinese porcelain, and the Great Wall GL No. 1 cigar. The design features an intricately sculpted azure dragon grasping a pearl, embodying the majesty and spirit of Eastern mythical creatures. The azure dragon, with its head held high and pearl in hand, exudes an aura of power and grace, symbolizing auspicious blessings. The jar is adorned with a golden dragon winding upwards and rising cloud patterns, evoking a sense of historical grandeur. The cigars themselves, crafted from premium tobacco aged for nine years and with masterful craftsmanship, deliver a long-lasting and richly layered tribute to the elegance of the East.
