Arend van der Sluis, founding father of ITMGroup, passed away March 3. The ITMGroup board released the following statement:
"With sadness and the greatest respect we announce the passing away of Arend van der Sluis.
"His whole working life Arend has built and expanded our company with unbridled energy and drive, cheerful as always. Thanks to the trust he so readily gave to people ITM could grow to what it is today: a solid international company.
"With his great sense of humor, informality and enthusiastic nature he was capable of bonding people. We are grateful for who he was and what he meant to us.
"The greatest respect and gratitude go out to his beloved wife and children who took such good care of him in the last, long phase of his life.
"We will celebrate his life and remember who he was on Thursday, March 10th at 16.00 hrs, at the Constructieweg 45 in Kampen, the Netherlands, were all are welcome.
