Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) has announced the nationwide launch of two new products from its Mevius brand, the Mevius Premium Menthol Option Muscat Green 5 100’s Slim and the Mevius Premium Menthol Option Muscat Green One 100’s Slim, which will roll out nationwide on May 16, 2019.
“The MEVIUS brand’s popularity has been the JT’s main driver behind its leading position in terms of Japan cigarette market share over the last 40 years. Products from “MEVIUS Premium Menthol” series have been very well received by consumers as they feature the powerful taste of 100% natural menthol.” said Takashi Araki, vice president of the marketing group product & brand division.
Both the Menthol Option Muscat Green 5 and Menthol Option Muscat Green One are the second series of the super slim sized Mevius premium menthol products.
“Before crushing the capsule, the two new products feature the taste of 100% natural menthol. By crushing the capsule, a fruity, rich, and pleasant muscat flavor is released. The packaging features the signature streamline motif of Mevius, with the white light emitting from the capsule representing the refreshing sensation of pure natural menthol, and yellow-green circular motifs depicting the muscat flavor emanating from the crushed capsule.”, continues Takashi Araki.
